Jack Benke acquired a number of professional disciplines over the years and puts them to work for his clients’ every day. Jack spent 22+ years in the construction industry 1969-1991. Jack took the opportunity in 1991 to make a career change. Jack attended St Thomas University under their "Parents on Campus Program" and majored in Economics from 1991-1995. Jack founded Home Mortgage of Minnesota, Inc. in 1999 - 2013. In 2000 and obtained a Real Estate Brokers license in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Florida in 2002. Jack joined Spectra Home Mortgage, Inc. in 2013, and holds the Minnesota Mortgage Professional MMP designation. Jack is Mortgage Loan Originator NMLS 322773 licensed in MN and FL, and is a Reverse Mortgage Program Specialist, and Home Renovation Loan Specialist.

Jack has earned the following real estate designations: Graduate Realtor Institute GRI, Certified Buyer Representative CBR, Accredited Buyer Representative ABR, Senior Real Estate Specialist SRES, and 1031 Exchange. Jack is a former licensed building contractor in MN and WI, and has many years of experience in the building industry as a new home and remodeling contractor. Jack no longer does any building or remodeling, but will use his knowledge and experience of the process to help you select the right home renovation or new construction loan program to purchase/renovate or renovate your existing home.
Jack can act as a Guardian, Conservator, Personal Representative, Fiduciary, Trustee, and Power of Attorney. Jack has his Certificate of Training through the National Center for State Courts - MN Conservatorship and Guardianship Training. Jack has also completed additional training through self study materials offered through MN Judicial Branch, and other sources. Jack did this to be able to further advocate for aging adults in Minnesota. Jack is qualified to act in the capacity of, or assist, a Guardian, Conservator, Personal Representative, Fiduciary, Trustee, and Power of Attorney. Family members usually assume these roles, but sometimes there is no other person to care for someone.
